I have been trying for weeks to get pictures like yours. What settings do you use to get them that nice? I have a nikon D5000 with several lens'. Please help me learn!
OH MY
you flatter me !
I humbly use a Sony H2 with an adapter and a macro lens.
you are only seeing the semi-good shots I can get out of what seems like hundreds I delete
I play with the white balance a lot. but my camera has limited control with it. Close up ,then MACRO setting is a must.
Turn off your AF illumination light. stops the cameras Auto Focus from bouncing off the glass and lets it focus on deeper objects.
These are just a few things that work for me. There are people on here (lazylivin for example to name just one) who take MUCH better pics and may be willing to give some better advice.
IMO the most important thing is
"become one with your equipment" meaning : I dont have the best camera out there, but I use it
a lot. I know its functions inside and out as well what it can and cant do. It is rare that you will find me without my H2.. just ask my family
I hope this points you in the right direction
