Gary can correct me on this if I’m wrong but it’s through John at Cincinnati Coral and Aquarium. He is using his business account and giving us these prices with a slight increase over what he would be buying it for.

Is this confirmed the pick up is in Cincinnati? Might not be getting the participation because of the drive involved to Cincinnati.

I’m planning on getting salt, but thinking of switching brands. But If this is a pickup in Cincinnati, I can pickup a bunch of it in my durango while I’m down there and then schedule a day or 2 for everyone to meet me in Dayton for pickup.

I have offered to load up salt as needed and bring it to Dayton for pick up. Gary has some plans for getting the Reef Crystal pallet back up north as needed - we talked this today.

If Rick is bringing the salt to Dayton (thank you Rick!) I’ll take two buckets of regular Red Sea. To who and how do I pay for this?

PayPal is the easiest method to pay. Don't pay for the Reef Crystals until we confirm the minimum 40 boxes. Payment needs to be received by Midnight 16 March 2020.
Thanks Rick for being proactive! That works. If we have the need, John or I have a trailer available to bring the salt up as well.
The Reef Crystals would be delivered to Aquatics Galore in Fairborne.

Can you confirm if pick up will be at Cincinnati Coral and Aquarium and when would pick up be? I would be getting Fritz

You can pick up Fritz at Cincinnati Coral and Aquarium. I don't have an exact date for pick up, but it should be by the end of the March.

If we don't reach the minimum buy of 40 boxes of Reef Crystals as we approach the 15th of March, you can change your order. Sub out - no, but you can change your order. We will only order what you request/pay for. As we approach the minimum 40 boxes of Reef Crystals I will post the status (currently 13 boxes). I'll try to find a deal for Reef Crystals. Chewy has the bucket, not a box, for about $38.

Chewy has reef crystals for $44 200 gallon box, I had an order going in for the dog and rabbit so bit the bullet and paid $48 for regular IO

Walmart has Reef Crystals 200 gal $44.03 per box.
The current status for Reef Crystals is 13 of 40 that we need to order.

Ok, cool. I’m pausing on my build for a little bit but want to honor the group but. The plan is to eventually fill this glass box with water and swim my things!

When can we pick up the Reef Salt? Ask the governor. Ohio Department Director Amy Acton has signed an Ohio Health Director’s order instructing Ohioans to stay at home. I'm not sure if reef salt is essential but in some cases maybe.

Pet Stores are essential. I'm concerned about ours and their exposure. Each member will have to make that decision themselves. The shipment is leaving Texas today. I will posted the ETA. For planning purposes delivery maybe by Friday 27 March.

Gary, I’ve spoken with Heinbaugh about pickup. I’m going to wait until the other orders are in so he can pick up my 2 buckets for me. I’ll pick up from him. Thanks guys for putting this together and picking up for me!

Looks like they have shorter COVID-19 hours right now. Every day 2pm-6pm. Might be worth calling ahead before you make a trek there.

I talked to John at Cincinnati Corals and Aquarium and he will be open tomorrow 2-6pm. Calling ahead is a good idea anyway.
