Tank Tear down
« on: February 01, 2015, 18:20:19 »
I have decided to take down one of my tanks.  My goal is to raise enough funds to pay a debt and get a large rimless. I will part with any and all corals, a few designer clown pairs, a tang, and some inverts.  At this time, I am keeping all the hard goods and most fish.  I will also give away a large engineer goby (it's the size of an eel, lol) once I catch it.  The corals will need to go first before that goby is ever caught.  I am parting with paired designer clowns and either a yellow tang or sailfin. I am keeping 1 of the tangs but I don't have a preference.  The clowns that I will part with are a pair of black ice, a pair of snowflakes, and only 1 Wyoming white.  Prices vary depending on the corals and fish.  These are larger colonies, some smaller.  The more you buy, the better discount I can give.  I have montis, acros, millis, zoas, trachyphyllia, lobos, ultra blastos, 12" maxima clams, acans, shrooms, etc. Finally, I have tons of blue legged hermit crabs and various snail species to get rid of, along with fire scallops. Pictures will follow shortly. Thanks!

It's a small to medium tank raised tang.  Maybe 4" or so.....

What inverts? And I'd be interested in goby if no one else is.

Mexican turbos, Super Tongan Nassarius, blue legged hermits, flame scallops, and Nassarius. You can have this goby if I can ever catch it.  This thing never comes out and it has caused sand to float in my water column.

Interested in hermits and maybe a turbo. I'd love a scallop but never owned one, mixed reviews

Sounds good. I have a lot! As for the scallops, they are pretty cool.  Just be sure you don't have any fish that will eat them.  Also, then tend to disappear and hide and then suddenly show up one day.  When they turn up you can't miss the bright red. If you have a rimless tank the scallops will squirt your walls. Lol

Yeah, I don't know. I'm certainly no expert and I have maybe 15 in an all in one frag tank and they all do well.  When I put several in my display, one was eaten by something the very first night.  The other 2 found a nice place and open up every day.  The only annoying thing with them is the water squirting issue.  One time I was messing with the tank and one shot me right in the face. Lol

Lmao I will take my chances! I don't have anything that would eat it unless my slipper lobster tries, doubt it. Would love to try.

That will work.  Wednesday evenings I have to give hockey / skating lessons but I am home by 7.  However, I will be home all day until 3.  Just let me know, but I will make sure you get a nice supply.

I have 5 of the trachyphyllia.  2 are just red and green.  1 is a crazy looking blue, green, red, colored and 1 is red and green with a bright blue around the edges.  These are probably my favorite corals and the lobo glows under the lighting.  These are all from Jakarta minus the lobo.  That came from Florida, LOL so not really sure on it's origins.

The lobo is $45

These 2 trachs below are $60 each and 5" plus

This one and the red below it are $35 each and 4" to 5".

The colored one is $60 and 6"

The more you buy, the better discount, and I will accept offers.  Just stop by, bring money and start picking things. lol.  Offer a price and I will see what I can do.

Nope, sorry no GSP.  I consider that an enemy in my tanks.  It took me a year to eradicate the stuff and I will never add it back.  ;)  You can certainly grab this zoa and I think what you see as GSP is actually a type of monti.  Therefore, I will get you another pic.
