lol this is crazy... who stirred the DSB?!!! I am suprised they are raking it out into big piles... I would imagine the algae is there to eat something that wasn't present before and part of a natural cleaning process? not to mention could you imagine what those shores are gonna smell like in a week or so... I love the fact people are covered in it swimming...

I found that last sentence particularly funny.... 4 years later and they are still like ummm we don't know...think someone dumped a no no and now it's a cover up? 

Isn't this the same sea that gets red tide?

Instead, scientists blamed the bloom on increased rainfall and warmer waters in the Yellow Sea. Algae are now blooming over more than 12,900 square kilometers, or 5,000 square miles, of the sea, according to Xinhua."

yeah the rainfall and warm water creates a heck of alot of algae here... that's prolly what's wrong with st.mary's... where did we go wrong thinking it was the waste run off from agricuture?!?!
