This picture is somewhat dated, but is the best I could find for now. Thought I'd post anyway...

Cool tank! :)
-
Looks really nice!! I really need to get some updated pics of my tank posted.
-
It does look really good. I also have a 20L, but it does not look that good yet on account of severe lack of lighting. I have a 36watt T-5 fixture on mine, but I am hoping to get a 130watt PC setup soon. What kind of equipment do you have running your tank?

There's a HOB with media removed that I use for surface agitation and a couple of oscillating powerheads. I think the powerheads are PowerSweep 210s or 212s. I've had them since I started the tank in Aug '03. I try to do water changes weekly, but they usually end up being bi-weekly or even monthly. Of course, everything is much happier with weekly.
The tank was doing great, minus a little green hair that needed trimmed up every now and then. I'm currently battling a cyano (red slime) algae that was born after I moved my tank about a month ago.
As time permits I'll get some pictures up and will post a few more tank specs...
I like the hobby and have for a few years now. The amount of interest over here on the Western side of the state has really re-charged me. I've had my wife increase my allowance and am seriously considering a step up, again, hopefully within the year.
Thanks for your comments.

This hobby can be addicting! :)
Glad to hear you are becoming re-charged! :D

VERY addicting!!

While we're talking about how adicting the hobby is, how far from Waynesville is this month's Western Ohio Reefkeepers Anonymous meeting, on the 19th?
-
According to Yahoo Map and using city zips only about 39.8 miles.
-
Thanks!
-
No problem :)

Rick's place is only a couple of minutes right off I-75. Very easy to get to.

here's a shot from the front (a little blurry) showing the fantabulous lighting setup that i've had over my tank for 3 years, with bulb changes of course.

My first salt tank had a light just like that! ;D
Looks good!

Very nice tank. Do you add anything to the tank, or do you just do water changes?
-
There was a time when I did a kalkwasser drip at night, but I haven't done that in a long while - probably over a year. I've also added reefplus on occassion and selcon to food. Other than that, just 2g per week water changes. I feed the fish 2-3 times per week, mixing/alternating between flake, frozen brine, and cyclopeeze.
I'm going to try to get a few more pictures today, provided I can figure out how to work my new camera. Yesterday I took pictures after cleaning the glass so things were a little distraught. I'll get some close-ups so that you can see my cyano problem...

Thanks for the info on your tank. I am dealing with cyano right now to so don't feel bad. ;D I think someone needs to start a cyano support group. ;D ;D
