You know, like nunchuck skills, bowhunting skills, computer hacking skills... Girls only want boyfriends who have great skills.

Sorry..., I had too...

Anyways I like to consider my self a jack of all trades but master of none... I dabble into a little bit of everything and I know just enough to be "dangerous" lol

Moved furniture for 4yrs
Know firearms inside and out(I dabble in custom smiting)
Auto/marine Repair
Computer Repair/Building(Though I am good at coding; since school I have never used/applied it...)
Just about any kind of home repair/project

If your close and provide the beer/food/and gas; I can help with any of the above ;)

I currently work as a Mortgage specialist(so if you have any questions about yours or any proceedings feel free to ask, I'll help you in anyway I can)

That's about all I can think of atm.....If I don't know it, I learn it.

marine Repair

Just got an old Bayliner.  Know a reputable shop in town?

The boats got a gas fume odor in the ski locker and Im kinda afraid its pin holes in the gas tank.  Need to clean the bilge and see if the smell comes back.

Is it fresh gas smell or laquered?   Could be a number of things... I would presume it is the hoses if they haven't been replaced in the last 10-15 yrs(ethanol eats em up)... I would start there first... then if there is a seal on your tank for the sending unit I would check that as well... if that fails you can pressure test the tank 3-5psi to see if it has any leak down... if it does and you suspect pinholes(not uncommon on those bayliners, or any aluminum tank for that matter) you can use a product called kreem to seal them... it's like $20 for up to a 35ish gal tank 3 step process that will clean, acid etch, and seal the tank from the inside...you just have to have the tank out though in order to apply it.   is there any gas in any of the compartments?  Be lucky you have the metal tank, much easier to work with, the plastic ones are garbage on those...

Thanks for the info.  Might have you swing by to check it out some time for a six pack.

Its a pretty strong smell in the ski locker, but of course I've only had it a few weeks and its been under cover the whole time so i has been aired out or anything.  The only gas related thing i know is if you squeeze the priming bulb repeatidly gas will start to pour out the carbs.  is that common or is something stuck open in the carbs? :)

If the tank does end up having to come out, how bad is cutting the deck up to get to it?

Sure I can come check it out,... chances are if it's aluminum you probably already have a cut out below your carpet as they usually are plastic(someone hopefully replaced it already). Is your carpet screwed down? if it is it wouldn't be hard to check.

I've used the kreem epoxy system before. Great stuff really! I recomend putting a small length of chain in the tank (after the gas fumes have disapated) to knock loose any larger build ups of crud.

Agreed, I normally mount mine to a wheel driven by a powered drill and allow it to tumble over night with the cleaning solution and ball bearings... I have used this stuff fr years never had a single tank come back since using it.

I'm a Time Warner Cable tech.  I can fix just about any cable problem, or at least tell you what is wrong.  I can't take my work truck over without a work order.  They have gps on us and stuff.  Small fixes are cake though, and I can at least troubleshoot.

Marine Corps infantry...I can pretty much take apart, clean, or figure out what's wrong with any firearm I get my hands on.

I do action sports photography on the side. Typically shoot a kids sports game and give the customer the disk of photos for $100. Would shoot a local (Dayton area) game in the evening or weekend for some nice coral.
