« on: July 06, 2016, 13:14:48 »
Just thought  I would ask if there were any quadcopter enthusiasts here in the club?

I have flown them but currently fly regular rc helicopters.  Merlin is quite the expert on rc helis and I know he bought a really nice dji quad last year.

I got that wrong Justin,  I think you bought the blade chroma.  Have you been flying it much or too busy with your full scale rv

The blade chroma is a nice unit!
We have kept to the smaller Symas like the x5.
The biggest we have is JJRC H6 tarantula

I'd love to have one, but finances just aren't there right now.

Wife got me a small cheap one for Christmas, but it's a PITA to fly. Would like to have a AR Drone 2.0 or something similar.

Which one did you get as a gift?

Nice little drone .. but a pain in the butt to control and have fun.

I recommend a Syma x5  class for beginners and intermediate.

Crazy fun to fly..cheap. also very easy to fix and get parts for.

We still fly our x5s more than any other because they are so much fun lol

Thanks, Kenn. It was definitely a PITA to fly! I'll check out the Symas.
