This meeting is open to all Ohio Reef memebers, premium or not. Would be a great chance to ask questions, pick up tank tools, pay membership dues, swap a few frags and more.

I'm planning on attending along with my wife. Since I've never met any of you guys before, how will I find you?

I vote that you decorate with Finding Nemo birthday decorations...

Lol, not gonna happen. Just ask when you walk in for the Ohio Reef meeting. I will be wearing a bright yellow shirt that says STAFF on the back.

I have every intention of coming, but the wife is "due" any day now. And the closer we draw to the end of the month the higher the chances... IF we dont have the new one come in by then, I will be there... but with the possibility still lingering in the air I dont want to make a solid commitment. But I would love to come, and hope I can; this one looks to be a blast.

Is there a weather contingency plan? Looks like we are supposed to get 2-4 inches between tonight and tomorrow, and idk about Beavercreek, but the city of Dayton has pretty much completely run out of salt (not that it would accomplish anything at these Hoth-like temperatures).

My Contingency consists of mass consumption of Beer.

No but seriously, I dont believe there is... I personally dont share worries with 2-4 inchs of snow; so i honestly havent given it any thought, but I understand most prefer not to travel under those conditions. So good suggestion

I am not sure what the contigency would be on the location regarding tidepool's arrangements, Perhaps he can chime in on if it's possible ot reschedule in case we are snowed out or what not, and we can go from there with a determination on what may be best to do in case we are.

If the weather is going to be an issue, we can always reschedule - I just need "someone" to make that call in the am so I can notify F&H; I live close by and grew up in Canada - so no issues for me ;o) but I do understand that people would rather stay in » the reason I picked F&H in the 1st place, is that I "won" a F&H party starter at a charity golf auction (I say "won", because it cost me $125).... anyway, it consists of 3 pizzas, 50 wings, chips & salsa as well as 2-hour rental of the pool table » I was just going to "donate" this to the Club members that showed.... just my way of giving back for all the help/support I have received over the last 5+ years since I started in this *^$#)(*^&$%(*& hobby!

It will be ok. Just be a little extra careful. It's about an hour drive for me, and I'm gonna show. The worse thing would be the wind.

F&H is a great place.... Use to almost live at the one in Centerville for a few years.

They are talking almost blizzard conditions.... The 2-5in of snow isn't a big deal its the possibility of 30+ mph winds that can make the roads not so pleasant.

I would love to attend but I have to work tomorrow as well.... If somehow I get don't with work early I will try to stop by

Possibly only postpone the meeting if there is a level something snow emergency that the city declares

LOL!

Dayton declares a "level 1" snow emergency when the weatherman even mentions that "we will be getting cold air from the North"....
