Title: my nanocube!

welp here's newly updated photos of the tank and the current inhabitant, my cinnamon!  ;D don't mind the cyano, it's still an ongoing battle with it! lol

if you do the cassette tape case surface skimmer it will help clear clean the water surface and lead to better water quality in the long run.

you do not have to put the notches n it or the screws.  As ong as the pump is on suction will hold it there.

that water completely rises over the top correct? I won't have this cube setup much longer as I'll be setting up my 55 gallon, for my cinnamon once we move into the new house later this yr. But I figured I'd ask for everyone else!

yes over top of casset box.  the water level in the back functions as the sump.  water level in front staus constant.

I highly recommend it too.  It does take the scum off of the surface of the tank.
