I had the opportunity to buy 3 of the Hanna test kits recently. They were used but looked in great condition. Is anyone using them? Are these test kits more accurate? Easier to use? Reliable?
If you think they are a good investment, which test would you buy first?

I use the phosphate and alk Hannas and love them takes less of my time then doing the damn drops plus it gives me an exact reading not just a best guess

LOL!
Just spent some time surfing the web for Hanna phosphate & alk testers - I guess that answers your question ;o)
-
Oh I would buy the all first

Make sure you know how old they are. Not sure if it was the meters or the reagents, but the first generation alk was not much good

It was the reagents, and hanna sent everyone who bought a checker the liquid instead of the powder that they had the issues with. I use all three and love them. I wish they had a magnesium one!

I am buying the Calcium and Alkalinity kits. The phosphate was already taken. I will test with my current kits and compare them with the Hanna and post the results. Thanks for the input.

I use the ALK one, and love it. I like how it gives you PPM so you can be more accurate when dosing.
