Huber Water
« on: August 31, 2011, 18:51:10 »
So I am getting closer to the move and getting water in the new tank.  Is there anything I should know about Huber Heights water?  The house has a water softener in it.  Anyone have any issues?
Firefighting:  How hard can it be?  You just put the wet stuff on the red stuff right?

Depends on the filter you're using...

Huber water used to be really bad. Hard, lots of little white flakes in it and low pressure. Not sure if it has changed since I lived there 15 years ago. Will you be north or south of 70?

Though I don't live in huber; I have 2 friends in seperate homes and I spend a lot of time there every week... the water pressure in both is terrible, you will most likely need a booster, and though I have never tested the water it tastes pretty bad and heavy with mineral taste... I will try to get a sample but I won't be back out there again till next week...

They exclusively drink bottled water.

I have noticed the poor water pressure while watering the landscape.  At first I thought I had a plugged line until everyone said the pressure was bad.  My RODI is 100gpd with a booster pump so that should take care of that.  I am just hoping I will not be battling the makeup of the water.
