For those of you that made it to last year’s swap and stuck around for the raffle, you probably went home with a fairly nice item or two. Well this year is going to be the one that you don't want to miss. The Frag swap committee has reached out to 40+ companies and many are showing their support by providing some fantastic items. Here are a few of our gold tier raffle sponsor's that will be supporting this year’s Frag swap.

I started to frag a few of my corals tonight hoping to have encrusted corals by the swap.  A few were unintentional.  I broke off  a major branch off one of my largest milli  :(.  As a teaser I will be posting frags of blue milli, peach daquari milli, purple nana acro, green fuzzy slimmer acro, le bali tricolor, german blue polyp acro, le lime minic, and Idaho grape cap so far.  I will wait closer to the swap to post on frag swapper,  I am concerned with swappers reserving pieces and changing their minds or plans changing and not showing up.

I have a few proposed ideas to give back to volunteers this year...

A free T-shirt, and at cost shirts if they want more.

Free pizza and drinks (within reason, 2 slices and 2 drinks maybe)

Spouses and kids of members get in free also (Credit to Scott for this one)

Also, I assume we're doing the pay $10 membership fee now and get in free like last year? That was a good way to bring in new members.

Couple of quick updates. Reeflo sent a really nice highend pump for the raffle

We have received complete RO/DI unit's, 48" Plug and Play T5's, Media Reactor's and much much more.

Frag Swap Committee just signed Dirk Dry Goods on. He doesn't have an online presence so don’t have a link to share but here is a picture of his setup from last year and his banner

If you plan on attending the event and haven't already registered on Fragswapper please do. It will help us get a good indication of how many people we can expect.
While you are there check out some of the nice corals that have been posted for sale and reserve yours before it is to late. If you have some corals to frag or some old equipment lying around in the garage now is the time to dust it off and post it up for sale.

Just added FISH AMORE to the venue. They are a relatively new reef store with an internet presence based out of Akron. They specialize in collector's corals and always have the hottest Z&P's. Check them out by clicking the banner below.

The Frag Swap Committee have been working the phones, sending letters and emails to make this years raffle the benchmark for all future swaps. Check out this teaser list of a few items collected over the past couple days.

How the Raffle works
At the swap there will be a staging area with several tables setup. The raffle items will be displayed on the tables along with a collection cup next to each item. Place your raffle tickets in the collection cups for the items you wish to win. The raffle tickets can be purchased at the swaps entrance where you pay admittance fee. When the raffle has started someone will mix up the tickets in the collection cup and blindly select one. If it is yours you win that item. The more tickets purchased the better your chances of winning and there is no limit to the number of items you can win. However you must be present to win.

New this year – Free Raffle Tickets
In addition to purchasing raffle tickets you can obtain free tickets for posting items for sale on Fragswapper. For every three items you post on Fragswapper you will receive one free raffle ticket up to a maximum of 3 free tickets. Swap vendors  are excluded from receiving free raffle tickets.
Your free raffle tickets will be waiting for you when you arrive. Just tell the cashier your frag swapper ID and they will in turn ask you for your fragswapper email address which is private to the public but we have access to as Fragswapper Administrator
