Check out this Video from a previous swap to get an idea of all the fun that you will have.

Dealers from around the country come to sell coral (much of which are the amazing corals that you see online not the bland common stuff that you see at your LFS - Local Fish Store).

It is also a great way to meet old friends and make new friends that are in the hobby.

You will find the hottest Zoanthids, Acros, Acans, Chalices, etc. all at great prices!

With as much free advertising as you are doing here on the site, I hope you are a paid sponsor  :smiley-happy112:

I am just a Hobbyist that Lives for Frag Swaps.

My life revolves around them basically. LOL!

I do not actually put on any Swaps so I do not make any money from this.

I do it out of the kindness of my heart to spread Reefing.

I do it on a National Level too as well.

Please take a look at the above 2 Links if you do not believe me.

P.S. All the Ohio Clubs promote all their Swaps on the Michigan Sites (Captive Reefs and Michigan Reefers).

None of them are Sponsors and None of them are Charged anything.

We do so love our members to contribute :)

Pics of your tank. Maybe filling out a member profile.

I find it a little strange I find your same posts almost verbatim on other sites under different user names from last year for example. and you never seem to contribute / post anything other than advertising.

If you are only here to share your experiences and just enjoy the hobby in general, then I will sincerely welcome you to Ohio Reef.

Time will tell

Time will tell

Well the thing is is I am from Michigan (I am very very active on Michigan Sites by the way).

If I lived in Ohio then I would be more active on this site but I am not.

I have a bunch of tanks, Bearded Dragons, Poison Dart Frogs, and a full time job working 6 days a week so I just do not have the time to be very active on all sites.

I apoligize for that but I seriously do not have the time.

I feel that Frag Swaps are such an important part of the Hobby.

They say that most people stay in this Hobby and Quit after 1 Year which is Tragic!

You see most people never hear about Frag Swaps and do not know what they are.

They see the same old same old boring Corals at the LFS get bored and quit.

I too would probably have quit.

I went to my First Frag Swap and Immediatly stopped going to the LFS because of what I saw (I was going to 3 LFS's a week spending a ton in gas and time).

I was blown away with the crazy awesome corals and variety that I saw at that swap.

I feel that if people were exposed to what is out there and made friends in the Hobby then this Hobby would be much much larger and better off.

But unfortunatly the average Reefer never goes to a Frag Swap and Never makes any Friends in the Hobby.

All they know if the LFS which gets old after a while.

I am doing everything in power to stop that by relentlessly telling people about how awesome frag swaps are.

I mean all spent all day yesterday trying to promote frag swaps (I get one day a week off and instead of doing things I am supposed to be doing I spent it promoting swaps instead).

That is how crazy I am for frag swaps!

I guess you can say I am the Frag Swap Crusader.

Hopefully in the future I get more time to spend on the Ohio sites but right now I am just too busy.

P.S. The Clubs in Ohio that come to the Michigan Sites Just Advertise their Sites.

They make no other posts.

No Comments, No Profiles, No Tank Pics or Build Threads.

I am sorry if you are mad at me but others from Ohio go to our Michigan sites strickly to advertise and we have absolutly no issue with that at all (In fact we love it and hope more people from Ohio come to Post).

I actually keep the conversation going in their Threads and Keep Bumping them up so more people read them and therefore more people go to the Ohio Swaps.

Thats how reefing is spread.

I am sorry that I simply do not have them time to make 20,000 posts on each of 12 or so Sites that I am a member of.

I really am.

If I could I would.
