Cleaner shrimp-snails-crabs -in FOWLR?

Going to have 2 triggers at a minumum.... sargassum & black durgeon plus a aussie harlequin tusk.  Is it OK to put some cleaner shrimp in my tank with them?  If so how many?

For the clean up crew... are turbo snails & sea of cortez crabs my best bet?  Is the 1 per 3-5 gallons the correct rule?

your shrimp snails and hermits are all at risk of becoming food for the triggers and tusk.

that's what I figured....   Trying to stick with wimpy triggers so they hopefully will not bother the cleaners.....

+1, I have read this on several forums... They are larger, harder to target, and have really thick shells.  Anything else would be strictly fodder....

Calcinus elegans aka  electric blue .... would those be better? @ $4 ea

Those aren't available from where I am getting my stuff from

Thus, I think I will try the sea or cortez one....  & keep my fingers crossed

I am worried that going to big with the crabs they will eat my fish??
