Hey buddy, how you been? Long time no talk.
My favorite is Fiji pink or mesoflakes in the 2mm - 3mm range. If to fine it doesn’t breath well which seems to be more likely to have algae sitting on top. Also in that range less likely to move around. I love a bright white calcium based sand over the tan silica based sands.

Doing good - hope you and the family are as well
Been out of salt for awhile, turned my 150 into a fresh water and haven’t paid attention to salt for years
With that being said, I just bought a jbj rimless AIO tank so looking to get back in slowly
