Morays are the coolest. They are very inquisitive animals. I've swam around them alot SCUBA diving in Florida. In some areas you can hand feed them they are so tame (for being wild). Like any wild animal, a healthy dose of respect is all that is needed with them.

I am amazed at the size of the teeth on some of those creatures.

The seafood department my wife used to work at put an Angler in the case for Halloween once... do NOT want to ever be underwater with anything like that.

I saw a show on Discovery once where these divers were hand feeding morays pieces of hotdogs, and the eel bit off the guys thumb. It sounded pretty gruesome when the finger snapped off.

Yep, they are wild animals. My roommate at the time almost got bit by one, but it was because he had just speared a fish and the moray wanted it more than he did. ;D
