What do you feed?   Is it getting plenty of algae in its food?

Pictures would help.

all tangs should like Nori. You can find it in the seafood isle at the grocery. If it doesn't like it right away try putting some garlic on it to entice them to eat it.

I buy the dehydrated sheets from the LFS and I have a suction cup clip that holds it in place. My hippo tang, yellow tang, coral beauty angel, and lawnmower blenny love an assortment of purple and green. I give them 1/2 sheet every other day. I dose my frozen foods with garlic and make a cocktail out of it. The more variety the better! Just be careful not to over feed :)

Tangs need to eat algae of some sorts. Nori is good. As stated you can find seaweed wraps at Krogers in the oriental isle. But I would say that lack of algae could be its problem.
