I get them all the time from Craigslist. It has a different name, but my email address.

These are similar. Ohio Reef sends emails out to members that are subscribed to threads to let them know their is a new post. Some folks email address in their profile is wrong so they are bouncing back to me.

Lol I turned off notifications but I am still getting them... make it stop ;P I get like 150 emails a day from Ohio Reef... not even kidding

I think we had a problem like this a while back with people using road runner. My listed email is correct.

The email address I am referring to are wrong. Cody go to your profile and select notifications you will see you have a ton of them which you will need to delete if you don't want notifications. Dave your notifications are off.

If you have notifications on when you reply to a thread it will add that thread to your notifications. By default as of a couple months back that is in for everyone. If you turn it off you will have to also delete the existing ones because turning off just stops new ones from being created, it won't remove exisiting. If it is turning itself on after you have turned it off let me know when it happens because I can tie it to a forum change such as new theme.

Is there a daily option for notifications? Another forum I am members of has this and it sends one email at midnight of all the new posts in that thread for the last day.... If this is already an option feel free to tell me to shut up, i didnt really check

I do a lot of dumb things Cody.

Related to emails when we get a private message the site sends an email to let us know. Many times people respond to that email instead of PM. I have done it before myself by accident. However know that when you do the recipient never gets your reply. So if you are wondering why you didn't get a response to a PM this is what may have occured. Believe me it happens a lot, everyday because Gary and I get those emails.

LOL, obviously it didn't catch my attention! Can it be changed? Could the lettering be red? Just some thoughts to help you guys out with fielding the e-mails.
