Title: diy calcium reactor.

I am going to do a diy calcium reactor. instead of useing cell cast tub im gonig to use regular pvc tube. As far as i can tell the only benifit or clear tube is you can see the media inside. Im going to change my media every 6-7 months so do i really need to see inside?

yeah, its mainly so you can see the media. however sometime this week i am picking up 6' of both 4 and 5" extruded acrylic from us plastics and some other parts and pieces and i will only need 2' of each if you want in on a couple feet of each... just let me know

Are they 1/4" wall?  The thinner stuff can break if it is for your DYI calcium reactor.
