Ran across a good article on how to recharge your DI resin in the Reefkeeping e-zine tonight.

As I was reading this article I could not help to wonder why anyone would want to go through all this trouble to recharge DI Resin considering how cheap it is. Seems like it may even cost as much for all the chemicals to recharge. But then again maybe some just enjoy the process.

Here is where I buy DI resin and all my chemicals in bulk for cheap.
They are also on ebay so you can sometimes win auctions for even cheaper then web-site.

You can get five pounds at Buckeye Field Supply for $38.99 which is cheaper than Bulk Reef Supply.  I think the article is interesting though I wasn't aware you could recharge the resin.

I've bought a few things from BFS and the service was great. Fast shipping, also.

I haven't ever bought anything from BFS but I've heard they have great customer service.  I was just looking around for prices I was surprised they are cheaper than Bulk Reef Supply.

I got my RO/DI unit from BFS. Great customer service. Russ always takes the time to answer my questions when I call him or email him.

My ro/di although it only seems to get to 8ppm (damn it) came with a extra bag of DI stuff. Have you considered that just putting in new material
