I was bored tonight at work and happened across this article. Thought I'd share.

Thanx for posting lol I was thinking about a cheap seabate anemone until I read this I have gold band maroons

Reading that article all my anemones should be dead!! I've only got 5.8W/gallon lighting, never spot feed and did no water changes at all for probably 1 1/2 - 2 years!
My LTA grew quite a bit during that time!
-
No water changes for 1.5 to 2 years. Wow amazingly resilient creatures.

Surprised anything survived!! There may have been 1 or 2 here or there but nothing consistent.

I shared it more for the hosting aspect than anything else. Every tank is different, so I'm not really surprised you didn't have any problems. Just goes to show what the right type of equipment can do for you.

I thought it was pretty good reading. Guess my ocellaris don't realize they're not supposed to be in a LTA.

This is one of those hobbies where there are no rules. Only guidelines, lol
