Fish store Locaters
« on: March 31, 2009, 21:02:07 »

This may be helpful for when you are traveling. Pretty thorough list of stores throughout the country.

I use this when I'm going somewhere I am not familiar with.

Sponsors who are not on this list can easily add them selves if you'd like....Joel

Reef Pets will now be open every Friday and Saturday from 12:00pm - 5:00pm. If the demand becomes high I will gladly open more often.

My only issue with 3rd party locators is that they don’t notify or ask permission of the store.  My old store is still on that map and I closed it almost 3 years ago.

Yes

I wasn’t sure if that was you or not. I wondered if you still were into saltwater stuff. I wish you were still open, I can’t trust most these other LFS!

Yea I currently have a 65 gallon and we are currently working on finishing the basement which will house a display in the 300-500g range. Getting back to the hobbyist side the things has been eye opening.  If you want to visit an LFS I currently prefer to drive to Columbus where you will find some great stores.  If I’m ordering online I prefer to support smaller vendors on the East coast.

Personally I prefer Reef systems because he has a section dedicated to QT fish and you are directly supporting mass aquaculture of corals.  If I’ve got the time I’ll also check out Matt’s and rivers to reefs if I’m already making the drive from outside of Columbus

I don't care for reef systems last time I was there I was talked down to like I was an idiot asking if they carried powdered browns. They they proceeded to lecture me on why no one should keep em. I get it you have an opinion but doesn't mean you get to treat me like shit
