I have had a fire several times already. Wood is all I heat with. No electric no gas just wood.

+1 to twisted.  I just split up about 3 cords of wood last week! We have not run our furnace in 8 yrs.

If I wasn't allergic to burning wood I .... Wood use it

Had a new ac and furnace installed this past summer which included a gas line run to my house (have been electric only) thus I had a gas fireplace installed.  Doesn't smell as good as a wood burning fireplace however since I am allergic to wood.... Its the next best thing
