Screw in l.e.d. bulbs for fuge

I noticed in Walmart the other day that they had a screw in light bulb that had several L.E.D.'s in it.  Any ideas on the effectiveness of using something like this over the screw in compact flourescent?

Thus far, the ones I've seen aren't terribly bright (either 20W or 40W equivalent), so likely not quite there yet for fuge lighting unless you're okay with using multiple of them.
