6g frag tank

got my 6g frag tank up and going.

Tank is from Ebay,  light and light stand I put together. providing about 36 watts of light if everything is on, and its about 10 inches above the water... everything seems to be doing ok under it so far, but i made the stand adjustable so if i need to lower it i can.

The guy has all different sizes.

Note: i offered 140, he countered with 150 ;)

but if you want a bigger one he has them, just check his other items. This one is the 17x17x6 in the link

that is what i entend to use this one for too, swaps... but until my 90 is ready for all the frags i figured id try it out.

I should note that i actually thought about getting the one he has with the external overflow too.

I thought it might be better for swapps because you could have the overflow drain into a 5 gallon bucket and keep the power head down there and heater too. With the 5 gallon bucket you would double your tank volume and also have plenty of water in reserve for when you fill backs.....

just some extra thoughts

here is the link to that tank
