just got some free time
redo my 34gal rimless solana
tank is under a150w kessli skyblue led
mostly coral now is lps & softy
the top area soon all will be sps!!
here is some photo!!

Very nice tank! How do you like the Solana? I have had numerous Red Sea Max's but am tired of the stands that always bubble and warp over time. My friend was trying to sell me his solana, so I told him I would think about it.

i still miss my 125gal use to have but due to move in next 3 year,i just enjoy my solana right now !!

go for it!since current don't sell it no more it is much harder to find one now !i owned a red 130d before,to me solana is way better tank than redsea,redsea you can't mod,solana there is so much option for mod,better skimmer,fuge if you want intank make lots nice add on for solana,i have for over 7 year,it is still my favorite tank,i use as frag tank before it does very good job,one more note with maine soloution led group buy plus solana you going to have a kick ass nano!!

Thanks for that. I will probably buy it from him. I modded out the RSM 130 s and 250s. So I guess I will have to do the same to the Solana. The one he has is stock.

it was a Clarkii Clownfish,same as one you have in your tank!! be carefully when they get full size they will attack any fish you add tank even tangs

yeah can't wait get that ponape from you in the tank,also i did order few sps & rbta in the swap put in the tank,after that many year i am still scare add any new thing to the tank lol!!
i did have few sps in tank doing great!!the old rocks i had was old fiji heavy naste stuff on it,so got 40lb really nice rock from somebody 7 year old tank,though what can go wrong!guess what that was mistake,after i swap the rocks all lps start chemical warfare,skimmer overflow,take 3 chempure elite to clear everything up,result i lost 3 sps ,lucky i void the tank crash,the lesson i learned is smaller tank you have less mistake you can make!!

YinYang, with My RSM 130 D and my RSM 250, I had to put a new tunze 9002 skimmer in them, a stevie T media wrack, chemi-pure elite, filter floss, and purigen. The I had to upgrade the lighting, and the circulation pumps. The factory stuff was junk. What mods are required for a solana? I was also looking into the jbl rimless they have on display at Gerbers.

i think the mod on the redsea amost same as i had on my solana,you can get intank basket,put chem-pure elite,filter floss & purigen in the middle chamber,1st chamber i had sapphire aquatic skimmer ,tunze 9002 with steve t cup will work also,i was eyeing those jbj also very nice looking tank,to me i think cad-light make the best all around nano due to it have built in refuigiem

I was also looking at the JbJ rimless, but because my friends solana was so much less, I am considering that.
