Help, moving tank
« on: December 28, 2010, 06:35:58 »
I moved the tank (72 x 24 x 30) down to my basement (unfinished) so I could water test it and store it while I was getting stand etc. ready.
Well the water test failed so now I have to move it back up the steps.  We slid it down the stairs on a mat.
Any suggestions on the "Easiest" way to move it back up the stairs?
Thanks and God Bless,
John

That was pretty much my thought but I didn't know if there was an easier way.

Know anyone with an ATV or truck with a winch?  Wrap a yellow tow strap around it and slide it back up the steps using the winch.  Or just take a hammer to it and break it into smaller pieces (easier to carry) since it failed the water test.

I don't think the seller would give me my money back for a bucket full of glass shards.
Thanks and God Bless,
