ive done it in the past using nori sheets, cyclopeeze, shrimp, oysters, scallops, cod, and squid. the easiest way to do it is cut out eggcrate  big enough to fit on a cookie sheet, then lay down wax paper under the eggcrate and spread the food mixture and freeze. that way you have perfect little cubes for easy use.

wow, never thought about that. I usually just fill some 1gal ziplock bags and break off as much as i think they will eat. Good idea though. How well does it work with getting them out of the eggcrate?

I never thought about that either.  How do you get it out of the egg crate?

I would imagine it wouldn't be much different from a ice cube try, just flex the egg crate to release the cube?

I have made a lot of the diy food and used egg crate to hold it. It pushes out really easy. I need to make some more sometime soon. Maybe Ill make some for Junes meeting.
