Ok im at a point where my diy controller has been running the tank for a week or so and I am very happy with the results. I would like to offer DIY wavemakers. These work great on the cheap korillia Evos or any other 120v powerhead that doesnt chatter on startup.
So I need to know how many people would be interested. I think parts and labor can be kept <=$15
You get an assembled circuit board with 6 wire leads. 2 for +-5v, 2 for +-120v, and 2 hot outputs. If you are wanting to run more than 2 powerheads we can work something out.
This will be controlled via a twist knob to control amount of seconds between switching. From very quick to around 15 seconds.
So a populated board with twist knob and 6 wire leads. Any interest? cheap and simple
Any other info they'll need JD? FYI it'll be a 555 timer, triacs, optoisolators, RC, and a pot
