Hey Larry,
I was using MJ1200s and never had a problem. I have heard that this device can be a little hard on certain powerheads. I did try koralia nanos with this device and on occasion the pumps would not restart after switching. MJs are probably the best bet as far as my experience has been.Of course MJs are pretty bullet proof anyway.

Hydor koralia wavemaker 2 controller with either nano pumps or #1 pumps--$120 each--I have 2 units for sale. These are in excellent condition and less than a year old. These controllers will operate all of the larger koralia controllable pumps as well.

Will that controller work with anyof the controlable korillia heads? Looking for set up 3 #4's on a controller.

This controller will only work with Koralia controllable pumps, and it only has 2 outlets. The unit will run any size koralia controllable pump. So, if your looking to run 3 pumps you will need a different system.
