Title: Poor Service - inland Hobby
Post by: lazylivin on November 25, 2014, 13:29:10
I have the DFS-100 ReefKeeper Saw. Ordered replacement parts on  10/28/2014. Had not received them on 11/17 so I called customer service. They told me they were out of one of the items. I asked them to ship the rest of my order. He seemed bothered by the request but agreed to do it. Today 11/25 have not received anything so I called back. Got the same person and he seemed irritated that I was checking into status. He said he would ask again to send my parts. It has been almost a month and I have never received an email, phone call or anything in regard to my order. So if your on the fence between the Gryphon and the DFS100 hopefully this will help you make your decision. Although I don't know how available parts are or customer service is with Gryphon.

My gryphon has been top notch, no parts needed so far beyond a new blade.   Hope it stays that way for a while.

Despite calls and emails for 3 months no product yet. I think it is time to get my money back

Well they refunded my money. They don't know when they will get replacement parts. Crazy thing is they are still selling new saws and these parts that are unavailable wear out and need to be replaced every month or two.
