Fragging Rics

So i finally got the guts to frag up this huge blue ric.  It probably had 3 heads and 7 mouths.  I fragged off 2 heads and then read you can frag each head, just cut in half through the mouth.  Well they were supper slimy and i dont think I got a mouth (or part of a mouth) on each frag.  Will they grow a mouth or will they die?
