Matt, I use 3 250 watt MH Hamilton 14K. I just replaced the bulbs last week.  4 65 Watt PC actinic lighting.

I noticed my CA reactor wasn't running so I tested the CA. It was a little lower than I like it to be. I like it around 450 and it was 390.  Still in the OK range but I want it higher.

Phosphates 0
Alk. 9.9 which is high. My Alk is always high. Even in our pool the Alk runs high. I guess our water is just hard. We run a water softener but we don't run soft water through the RO/DI unit or outside water.

I was going to test for MG but the test kit had expired. I didn't test anything else.

I did think it was a little odd that the urchin spawned during the day. I would have thought it would have waited until only the actinics were on or even in the night.
