I am pretty sure I will be attending this event. Just curious if others from Ohio Reef will be attending as well?

I'm thinking about going. Was going to skip that one and go to the 2nd annual Indy swap to see something different, but have already seen some things on Fragswapper I would like. I went last year and it was a good one. Want to carpool if I go?

We are leaving from the Waynesville area. I am not driving, but I don't think my friend would mind if others want to come up with us.

Very nice event. I came back with 10 new acro frags. I saw cbell and verper at the frag swap as well. My frags are in QT. Just finished the first of three interceptor treatments (which explains why the water is not crystal clear).
Steven Pro was at the frag swap as well.

Very cool.

Tim,
Where is the Tunze for the QT tank? You didn't skimp on it did you? :D :D :D :D :D
I'm using the same pumps you are on my QT. I dipped in TMPCC after acclimation and got a few red flatworms last night. I got 10 frags also and should have headed back the same time you did - didn't win anything at the raffle. My first shut-out. :'(
-
Red flat worms. That would suck...
That's ok I've never won anything in any reef related raffle anywhere... ::)

It's true, I use maxi-jets for my QT. I also skimped on the lighting....running a 400 watt coral vue electronic ballast w/ a generic 10k lamp on loan from a friend.
I dipped all my corals in TMPCC as well (upon arrival). Didn't notice any flatworms so far.

Hey Tim...
Do you lease space in that QT?

Mitch, I am leasing right now....the monti cap frags in the QT are not mine :)

I'm jealous as my QT is nowhere near as nice. Maybe I'll have to bring my frags over for a night at Tim's Hilton QT. What's the going rate - $200 a night? ;D

Depends...If I am using the QT at the same time, the rates are cheap because I have to use the same stuff to treat my corals anyway.
Now, if you would like to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, I still have my 29 g QT (see pic below) but I promised the tank to my nephew so it may not be around for long :)

I would not call it the Hilton, but if you would like to take a tour before making reservations, this is what you will get ..... (coral frags not included...must supply your own)... I will be selling the 30g breeder soon (for dirt cheap price) so if anyone is interested, let me know. Would like to convert the existing set-up to a 40 gallon breeder frag grow out tank.

Hey I have one of those prizm skimmers! ;D

Again, not the type of skimmer you will find at the Hilton, but it does hold activated carbon which is great in between interceptor treatments.

I probably know this under a different name ... what is TMPCC ?
