does anyone know how to raise brine shrimp? I can hatch them in a 2 liter bottle but after 3 days they die because im not sure what to do with them i have rotifier food to feed them.
I havent done it myself but i will be here shortly as i keep producing more phyto than i can use so that i can then freeze them for the custom food that i make. Anyways, what i got out of all ther i have read was that you need to monitor water quality as their shells will decompose poluting the water plus any food they dont eat will do the same.
So you use a flashlight to attract them all to one area, siphon them into another tank area of same salinity and temp to avoid shock. Commence feeding if you want them to grow larger or feed to your fish. As long as water quality and proper feeding is done, you shouldnt run into any issues. The water should always be a light-med green color. But when you go to siphon them, I'd let them clean up the water some then transport them.
