Acrylic rod size aquascape

First of can you use fiberglass stakes for drive way reflectors for the rods used in aquascape ? Or should I use acrylic rods? If acrylic where does everyone get there rods looking to make a huge overhang and I need to know it won't fall also what's the best expoxy thanks

Personally I wouldn't use fiberglass anything in my tank. There are some pretty harsh chemicals that are used in the process. Some of which may leach into the tank.

Try cutting some plastic Clothes hangers up?

You can also buy Plastic Rods used for landscaping/gardening, they are usually in the garden section and are green or brown... They are plastics and are cheap, use em to stand up tomato plants etc... If you can't find them or need something longer than a cut up coat hanger, let me know i have some laying in the garage, but they are pretty easy to come by. I have even seen them in the hobby shops for plastic floral displays.

Fiberglass scares me also just have read a few post with people using it.I will check out the garden stakes I never thought about coat hangers either thanks.I'm going to use some PVC but I need somthing smaller for parts of it thanks everyone I'm going with a bonsai type theme for the aquascape
