Need help IDing something!
«

Hello, So I have theses little white dots that are on the glass in my fish tank. They are about the size of a ball point pen head, some are translucent some are solid white. They seem to be in the trail of the snails in my tank. Any ideas?

Do they harden to the glass ever? or just dissolve away once the snail hatches?

Most of the time, they don't hatch. Usually they'll dissolve away over time, but I usually just scrape the glass before then anyway. I wouldn't worry too much.

Post pics if you're still concerned. If the white spots aren't moving...just stuck to the glass, you're probably ok.
