Alright water is at 1.009 now just gotta hold it there for awhile fish are looking good ich has already seems to fall off them they are eating good.  Don't know if anyone has done this before but I put a small ball of cheato in there and they the fish are always eating off it. Is this ok to do?

Treat it like any other food or nori and remove any uneaten cheato in a few hours. However your algae eaters would be better getting their daily greens from Nori instead of Cheato.
