Red monti

So my red monti I had was bulldozed behind/under some rocks and I haven't been able to find it until today. It's almost white, just barely some pink left. I placed it back on a rock in the light, is it too late to save?

unfortunately only time will tell. Monti can be pretty tough. if it was good and healthy before the accident you have a better chance.

It was doing well and starting to spread, but it almost looks a little smaller. The only reason I didn't give up is because it has a hint of pink left.

You might be surprised how well it will recover.  might want to take it slow bringing it back into full light.  I would think if there is any color at all it will come back.  Any polyp extension that you can see?

If it still has pink on leave it alone, it might well recover.  When i bought my first piece of red monti it arrive almost entirely white with only a hint of pink, i put it in the tank and it recovered but it took ages.  Just give it a chance and see how it does.

I'd say you saved it in time. Montis are one of the hardiest SPS you have have, especially the plating variety.
