New stuff in tank
« on: November 14, 2009, 14:59:00 »
I just got a frag of FrogSawn and torchlight and was wondering how much water flow they need and or like?  I have then under a return now but im afraid it might be too much movement.

Also, got a frag of Zoe and was wondering the best way to remove from the ceramic disk its growing on?  Do you need to glue it down or will it grow intot he rocks?

Is it best to lets the frag stay in the tank a while to get used to it then remove from the plugs? or do it all at once so you can leave them alone to grow?

They love moderate to strong indirect flow. It is rare to have too much flow in a tank. Here is an old video of my torch and frogspawn where you can see the flow. It had to Koralina 4's and 800gh return in a 55g

Lazy (not to highjack) but that almost looked like a faceoff like the Sharks and the Jets (between your clowns.

Ithink if you can get everything done at once (including putting it in a tank) then the better off.  One major stresser vs numerous smaller stressors.
Thanks and God Bless,
John
