Most Fiddler crabs are tidal or live in marshes and require brackish water and air access. However without knowing the species it is impossible to do any research.

I have had a few Red and Gold fiddlers in my first tank. They always find a way to get out for air, then hop back in when they are ready. Neat little crabs.

They would be really cool in that one tank someone posted with the rock in middle of the tank extending out of the water.

I think I seen that on Nano reef. The Volcano looking thing. Pretty cool idea.
