I had a pair of ocellaris that came from parents that hosted in a huge BTA, so I bought them a BTA and they wouldn't even look at it. They hosted in green striped mushrooms.

I have two true percs that host in frogspawn. One goes back and forth from the BTA.

I've tried 2 different anemones and I've lost both. I have a tomato clown and I'd love to find one it would host. Any suggestions?

I got my nem about 7 months ago. I got it cuz my clowns had hosted it & I got a killer deal on them. As soon as I got them together in the tank the clowns didn.t want anything to do with the nem. Saturday evening I start blasting the nem with the powerhead cuz I wanted to get it out of my tank. As soon as them started flapping in the current my female clown started hosting it. Now she can't get the male to host it. But it's funny how just all of a sudden they say hey theres a good nem let's live there. They have hosted a candycane coral up to this point. Well he still is.

Don't think so it will hurt it. But does ur bta always shrink at night. Mine stays big all the time expect when it is like expelling waste after feeding days.   Any mine has 2 clowns in it.

It will be fine. If the bta feels it needs to it will pull those few tentacals in & disapear.

Both of my BTAs and my LTA tend to shrink down at night.
