I'm from the service too 12B, combat engineer out of St Marys, glad to see you made it back home safe. I spent 18mo over in Iraq.

But no, you cant post too much, more info and questions on here the better it is for all.

I'm probably one of the only few post-vietnam USAF tactical aircraft crewchiefs to actually be intentionally shot at.  However, my deepest respect goes out to anyone who is serving or has served in the action following 9/11.  It's hard to find an ununiformed enemy, let alone break the spirit of someone who looks to a martyr's death as more desirable than life.  My service was during the first trip to the sandbox.  We left some unfinished business there, unfortunately, that others had to come and clean up later. :angry4:

Mine as well.  If it weren't for 3 crushed vertebrae in my spine, I'd still be there.  I wouldn't have missed it for the world.  And I worked with some of the finest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

I know the feeling! Its in my blood to be a soldier. That was my upbringing. However, I have learned that all is not in my control. I do miss it though.
