If you have an open cut on your hand, and want an infection, just stick it in your tank.

A TON of nasty bacteria among lots of other bad stuff is in our saltwater.

Your mouth and stomach are probably better equipped to deal with bacteria......but I still don't like to do it.    And I use a nice long tube to siphon with.

I don't mind my hands..its just when you need to reach the bottom ....arms...shoulder need to be clean too.    Worth the $15
