Emerson TV inverter board
« on: January 28, 2013, 09:09:25 »
We have searched everywhere for this part with no luck!  It's for an Emerson Lc32oem8an 32" Tv.  Inverter board part # A71f5mut.  Anyone know where I could get one of these?  Thanks in advance!!!

I did a quick search... It doesn't look good. It looks like its probably been discontinued.

Your best bet is probably to try and find a broken TV on eBay and hope that it has the part you need. Or use this as an excuse to upgrade....

Another thought.... you might be able to fix the inverter yourself (depending on whats wrong with it...). Check all the capacitors on the board, and see if any are bulging.

Check out this link... http://www.capacitorlab.com/visible-failures/index.htm

If any of the capacitors are bad you can just replace them if you know how to solder (or know someone else who can...)

Thanks!!!  I'll send this link to my husband.  He can fix just about anything so this might work!  :)  Of course he would like to upgrade but it's our bedroom television and I think 32" is fine...  LOL
