I need to get new pics up. The algae is all gone!! Looking almost as good as it did a few years ago. Get some growth on my frags and she'll be top notch again!

I got a new camera at work, a Nikon Coolpix 8700. What better way to learn how to use it than take pics of my tank!!  ^-^  I read melev's tips on his website and played with the white balance and used AP setting.

Here's a couple examples:

Still not quite clear as I'd like but I'm getting closer. I think a lot of it is my lighting. Gonna have to play with the exposure settings.

Getting better. Try using the timer so you don't move the camera when you are pushing the button to take the pic and brace your hands against the tank to keep it steady.

Thanks chrom! Been a long time since it looked this nice!

Travis, it is on the right side kinda under the power head. It's sitting on top if the LR there. The way I took the pic you can't see it. Should be able to see it on the right side pic.

Love the Nem in the center.

That is a LTA I got from lazylivin a few years back. I couldn't have picked a better place for it if I'd placed it!

I also have 2 small GBTAs.

Cool! Always nice to know how long you've had something. I've had the GBTA longer than that. It's split a couple of times.

Got curious so I did some digging. I found a thread from Dec '06 where I was talking about the GBTA. Looks like I've had it for over 6 years!!
