Unique Acro
« on: April 18, 2014, 00:44:53 »
Check out this acro on R2R. It is quite diffrent from any other Tenuis Acropora I have ever seen in the past. Or is it a millie?

Whatever it is....it's pretty bad ass.  Nice find and I would mind having a piece of it.

I stumbled across one that looked similar

Here is the picture from the vendor that I ordered it from (Matt's Corals)

This picture is when it arrived last Friday.

I think millies only get the larger corallites in a very high flow spot

Yes, the coral pictured on R2R is a Tenuis Acropora and is so nice. It reminds me of the ReefRaft Rainbow Passion, which is pretty sweet as well. Speaking of pretty sweet Tenuis acros, I finally have the RR Orange passion growing out in my qt/growout system now, which is around 300 gallons total water volume. Your new mini colony looks pretty cool as well.

Here are my two all time favorite tenuis acros....the orange passion and rainbow passion.

It always looked exactly the same as it did when it arrived; just larger. Gave it to a friend about a month back to see if he could get the color out of it. Will check in with him in a few months to see if he had luck
