Storing saltwater

Made too much this past weekend. I put some in my brute with a lid on it and some in 5 gal buckets with lids. How long will they be good?

It will be good for quite a while, maybe a couple of months. Although, before you use it, make sure you aerate it as well as heat it to the correct temperature.

I agree I always keep Around 40g of fresh saltwater on hand mixed up, do your best to keep it moving ( a small powerhead ) and I do keep a heater in mine. Its always best to keep the light away from it so you don't get any algae growing though.

Are they food safe? Otherwise they will leach chemicals into the water.
