Was bored this evening and playing around in excel with some Ohio Reef stats. Thought I would share.

Brian, you really must've been bored! 

Very interesting, I must say.  The club has really grown in the last two years...especially this year!  That gives me confidence that we're moving in the right direction with the club.  I would be really worried if we were stagnant or declining.

I'm a data junkie  ;D, would love to get access to the database for some really interesting stats. If you disregard the first few months when Ohio Reef was born, site usage increases exponentially from April 2008 and takes off like a rocket from Oct 2008.

Gary (OhioReef) installed a MOD to add "Last Active" date to the Member List to allow for some enhanced reporting. I will work on that over the next week and post up along with updated charts. In the meantime you can check out the MOD here. http://www.ohioreef.com/index.php?action=mlist

Humm... it shows the old last active of April 19, 2009... Do we really not have a single one of our 235 members that hasnt been active in the last 6 months?? seems kinda high.  I would have thought at least ONE person would have joined the club and fallen away or decided it wasnt for them..

EDIT: Is there an auto kill for usernames of inactive folks (6 months I suspect?  :laugh:)

Gary runs maintenance occasionally and deletes accounts inactive for 180 days.

The user agreement specifically states that any account inactive for over 60 days is subject to removal. Every now and then I go in and clean out inactive accounts. I usually go back 180 days rather than 60.
