WTB: Workhorse 4 ballast.

Do any of our sponsors carry these, or do you know where I might find one locally?

I think I saw some at Marine Solutions when I was there last.  Have you checked Menards?  I know Phishy Business has them as well.

hope its not for t5s, workhorses are not true t5 ballasts and are hard on bulbs.

The people who designed T5 lamps designed them to run on ballasts with certain certifications including end of life protection and programmed start, neither of which workhorse ballasts include. They kill bulb life due to the hard start.

I'm using the ballast to replace the failed ballast in my Coralife 2x65 CF fixture.  Thanks for the info Mike.

We have them in stock at the store.  I think we have the Workhorse 6 and Workhorse 7.
